Great Jamaican/ Caribbean food! This place never disappoint. Usually order take out for home, but ended up eating them in the car because they are so good. Oxtails and curry goat are among the best out there. So flavorful, with meat falls of the bones. Make sure to have some room for patties as well. Food are well portioned, and the staff are usually very friendly.
The food has great flavor, but more importantly I love the fact that the food is not heavy in salt. Many Caribbean food drown the food in salt, not this Golden Krust. My family are loves meat eaters and I am a pescatarian they satisfy both. The veggie stew is a nice choice for the vegetarian palette. If is want a nice island breakfast without going to the island this is the place to visit to take you back to JAMAICA.
I finally purchased the Shrimp Patty! At first I was taking back with the price but the two beautiful ladies said “Trust Me”, so I did and I am glad I did because the Golden Krust Shrimp Patty has a little heat and the right amount of spices to bring it all together! It was so delicious that I purchased two more! My recommendation is to spend a dub (20.00) because one Golden Krust Patty isn’t enough. You been warned... If you happen to visit this location tell the staff that Glen from FedEx Express referred you! P.S. I came here to get patties. Last week I got spicy beef for an old friend and this week I got it for myself and it was soooo good. The spinach and vegetable patty are also good. I hope they open up the Golden Krust by my house that one is only a 5 minute drive from me.
We had GK delivered and was very satisfied with the food. When ordering through Doordash some if the items were missing in comparison with the GK site itself. Beyond meat patty was delicious! We tried both fish entree and the snapper was definitely superior tho the other fish was good too, a bit dry.
Most of the time I come to GK for their spinach and jerk chicken patty. Really good Made hot & fresh with better ingredients than most places that sell patties.
